Comments: 2 from 2 yesterday with both winners at Port Lincoln doing the job easily by more than 2L and starting a bit shorter than I would have preferred but I can't complain too much about the $5.30 return. There doesn't look to be much worth backing today and it is probably a day where most of the winners will be in the $6-$10 range, as most of the fields look quite even, which will make market moves more significant. The two Mornington selections come from the same system, which hasn't had many selections but is performing in line with expectations of 50% s/r so maybe one of them can get home today. Sandown 2-2 and Morphettville 4-1 both come from 40%+ s/r systems that have had a lot of live selections but only return a slim profit. There's not much I like running but I'll be keen to see how Pluto Pup performs at Rosehill. As people know, I have a fair opinion of the horse and he has not been ridden to advantage at his last two runs, which include a rare poor ride from Darren Beadman. He'll be suited by the step up in trip and the bigger Rosehill track.
