Comments: 1 from 2 yesterday returning $2.30. Rhumb Line didn't win the first at Hobart by far but never looked like running 2nd. Given how well placed he was, and how narrowly he won, I doubt that he has much scope to keep winning. At Bunbury, Mighty Ronnie really should have won. He was quite untractable, pulling and reefing before running around like a duck in the straight. The winner, Blue Hoops, is not a bad horse and is also worth following. He races in the colours he's named after, trainer Mark Bairstow's old football club, Geelong. A POOMA from our least favourite system today in the form of Terang 5-1 Inglewood Doc. He as a bit disappointing over this course two starts back before running an OK race in a particularly strong event last time behind Mock. With all bar one of the other runners having an apprentice claim he has to give away 3.5kg to the rest of the field so I wouldn't be taking less than $3.50.
