Today: Our POOMA selection today, Hamilton 6-3 Fullta, has the really strong SSY form to recommend it. Two starts back she powered home from back in the pack at this track to easily win a Class 1 race by over 3L. She then got home well in the race behind Bon Hoffa and Yappa that produced Wednesday's winner, Bellini Rose. She doesn't get too many ticks for consistency but really does look to be in a winnable race. Those people who follow my jumps tips will be comfortably ahead, as they're actually easier races to pick than flat races. A lot of people I know don't back them because they think there's too much chance of their horse falling over or being brought down. What they miss is that for every horse the falls in a jumps race there must be 100 in flat races that cop checks or don't get a clear run which put them out of the race. That is rare occurance in a jumps race. Hamilton 1-9 Reflective trialled well before running 3rd as a $2.60 favourite two start back. He wasn't suited on the slow track that day and has had a run on the flat to sharpen him up. 1-2 Fenton nearly won his hurdle debut and then went close in a Class 3 flat race last time. Looks a good quinella. If we can get $2.50 about this one at Wagga, 2-2 Fastrack, then I'll be happy to play. He was less than a second outside of the course record in his Class 2 win here last week and drops in weight for this Class 3 race. If he can run that race again then he'll win. The topweight, Stormberg, tends to flog along at a fair clip and it looks like they have the race to themselves.
Yesterday: What's this? Another winner from the SSY form? Amazing, isn't it, that these formlines are holding up so well? Nylstroem, which had run behind Yappa and Suspects first up and then won his Maiden, stepped up in trip and grade and won again paying around $4.
POOMAs: There were no POOMA selections yesterday.
