Well, just when the old warrior, Lazza, looked to be dashing away from the field he takes off a tad early at a jump and falls. Horse and rider are OK, which is good news. In the last at Hawkesbury, our tip, Fuji Lad, was putting in a strong finishing burst when he broke down. I don't know what the result was but it didn't look good. Let's hope they all get around safely today.

Hated to see Lazza fall when it looked like he might rack up another win.
I'll be cheering him on August 6th though, apparently he was doing fine as he put in a piece of work this morning.
He needs four more wins to beat the record for most number of wins at the track, which currently stands at 12 (I think). Hopefully, he can take one step to that on the 6th!
