Track downgrades really mucked up yesterday as a viable punting proposition that killed off the chances of quite a few horses. Rosecutter showed that she has a lot of ability at Rosehill and at Moonee Valley the other riders gifted the race to Illusionist when they let her lead. Not that they could have beaten her, anyway, given the end result but some initiative might have been handy. We did manage to lob a $20 shot in the general selections and Maizy May ran a good race, paying $4 for the place. Today is a shocking looking day. Go and read a book.
