Comments: Don't you love it when a horse you think is a really good chance and nice odds comes out of the barrier, buckjumps badly and is out of the race before going 100m as Danzamonkey did yesterday? Our next pick then ran off on the home turn so clearly we've offended the punting gods at some point. Mt Gambier 4-4 Over Dieu returns from a spell here and would be a good chance if the track wasn't so wet. He's had two goes on slow and heavy and been well beaten both times. He's by Dieu D'Or whose progeny are particularly poor in the wet. Mt Gambier 5-6 Zenal returned from a spell and won nicely at Penola. It's impossible to line the form up but she must be some sort of chance.
