Comments: The POOMA won handily yesterday at $3.50 and the two black book jumpers thrashed their opponents again as odds on favourites. Townsville 1-12 Doc's Lament is trying to break his duck at his 15th run in this and must be some sort of chance, as he's never too far away. He'll get an OK run from gate 2 but you'd prefer to see $10+ to have a bet.
