Comments: None from 3 yesterday. Kimbo got us off to an appalling start at Kyneton when finishing last of the six runners after sitting outside the leader at a slow tempo. He dropped the bit before the corner and got squeezed out though he didn't lose any ground up the straight from that point on, which was a bit of a strange run. Hendrik ran an OK race but couldn't hold out the winner at Sale and then Rough Sea ran about 5th at Port Lincoln. She looked a bit out-graded and that's how it turned out. Our non-POOMA lobbed at $14 ($20 SuperTAB) and I stood it out in the Sale quaddie, which paid shocking unders at $2,800 against the all up at over $5K. At Ararat today, 1-1 Tuscan Prince, ran a couple of seconds before really getting his act together to annexe a Warracknabeal Maiden by over 4L, coming from well back on the corner after being slowly away. There's only one other winner in the field, Portrait Lass, and she looks the danger.
