Comments: Shifting Sands was wide early and with nowhere to go so was eased out the back and given a soft run yesterday when finishing back in the field. That duck egg will extend his price for next time and if he draws a gate then can hit back. I've put him in the black book. Mornington 1-1 Cockpit ran a good race for 3rd after leading them up in a stronger event at Ballarat. The tighter Mornington circuit will help his cause though I am concerned about the fact that he's a Rory's Jester on a dead track. Hopefully there'll be an upgrade. At Geraldton 1-10 Miss Bordello has run three placings in a row at this track and in this class. This is not a strong race so she must be a half a chance.
