In 2009 I'll be basing the POOMA selections on those systems that performed well in 2008.
I've dropped a number of systems that did poorly and/or had performance well below expectation - 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17.
The numbering for 2009's systems will be the same as 2008 and the following system numbers carry over:
1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15, 18, 19, 20
I was in two minds about including system 18 but will monitor it closely in case it takes another downturn, as it did about six months ago, but it's currently on an upward trend so just made the cut.
The new systems for 2009 are:
2, 3, 4
Being new, these will be under extra close scrutiny but if they perform up to their last couple of years then will deliver consistent profits.
I'm aiming for 30% s/r at 30% profit from around 1000 selections for the year, which will be a big profit improvement on the last two years when we've finished just behind and just ahead.
Due to work commitments I won't be writing as many comments in 2009 as I did in 2008 so the posts will look like the ones that have finished off December.
