Comments: Toowoomba 4-1 Covet Gold drops in grade and is well weighted with the claim. He's drawn well, should lead or sit right on the speed and go really close. Toowoomba 5-4 Saint Angelo goes fast but hasn't been able to get home since this time last year. This is the easiest race he's been in for a few runs and he should also go close.

Black Book: Gold Coast 6-5 Zedeshee has drawn wide but looks to have enough speed to lead. He doesn't have much left in the locker at the end of his races so 1000m is as far as he wants to go. I still reckon we'll get a result out of the old warrior Ipswich 1-7 Zip Zip Array and he might be half a chance today. He hasn't been tried at this distance but he did get home strongly last time out. Sandown 4-10 Mazzacano keeps racking up the jumping wins and looks like he'll rack up another one today. His flat run last time was strong, which will have him sharp for this. Sandown 5-2 Hasta Manana looked weak last time after three dynamic wins. The track was very heavy that day and even though he's won in the wet I think he's better suited with drier conditions.
