The first race in Melbourne looks a bit of a trap to me. All of the winners were impressive at their last start and all have a real chance. The Hayes stable thinks that Miss Finland is in their top 3 Blue Diamond chances; Flame Of Sydney was apparently 'lucky' to beat subsequent winner, Jumlah, last time but having watched the replay a few times I don't know how they work that out; She Will Be Loved did well to finish over the top of them after a strong pace; and Corporal Congo was very impressive in coming from a fair way off them at the top of the short Cranbourne straight to win running away. Add into the mix the Kavanagh's Tipungwuti, which is only $15 for the Blue Diamond after its impressive trial win, and the other Hayes runner, Satnav, and you've got a fairly hard race. Grammatical looks the only one without a hope. Whichever one wins this will be in the first two in Blue Diamond markets, I'd suggest.
